Log Files
Signal Analysis Lab's webpage follows a standard procedure of using log files. These files log visitors when they visit websites. Online Privacy Policy Only
Our Privacy Policy applies only to our online activities and is valid for visitors to our website with regards to the information that they shared and/or collect in Signal Analysis Lab's webpage. This policy is not applicable to any information collected offline or via channels other than this website.
Arpuro Alerts mobile application
This section applies to the Arpuro Alerts mobile application ("the App"), available on iOS and Android.
Data we collect through the App
When you use the App, we collect the following information:
Account information — your email address and, when signing in with a Microsoft account, your name and profile information provided by Microsoft Azure AD.
Authentication tokens — encrypted access and refresh tokens stored securely on your device using platform-level secure storage (iOS Keychain / Android Keystore). These tokens are used to authenticate API requests and are never shared with third parties.
Device information — your device type (iOS or Android), device model and manufacturer name, and a Firebase Cloud Messaging (FCM) token. This information is used to deliver push notifications to your specific device.
Notification data — the App displays notification history from the Arpuro platform, which may include alert details such as sensor name, measurement type, measured value, and threshold. This data originates from your organization's Arpuro monitoring system and is not collected by the App itself.
Third-party services
The App uses the following third-party services:
Firebase Cloud Messaging (Google) — to deliver push notifications. Your FCM device token and device type are shared with Google for this purpose. You can withdraw consent for push notifications at any time through your device settings or within the App.
Firebase Analytics (Google) — to understand App usage patterns and improve the service. This includes events such as login method, screen views, and notification interactions, along with your user ID and standard device information (device model, OS version, app version). Firebase Analytics is governed by Google's privacy policy.
Microsoft Azure Active Directory — if you choose to sign in with a Microsoft account, authentication is handled through Microsoft's OAuth 2.0 service. Your email address and profile information are shared with our backend to create or match your Arpuro account. Microsoft's privacy policy governs their handling of your data.
Local data storage
The App stores the following data locally on your device:
Authentication tokens (in platform secure storage)
Notification preferences
Cached notifications (for offline access)
Device registration identifiers
All locally stored data is deleted when you log out of the App.
Data Retention
Notification data and account information are retained in accordance with your organization's agreement with Signal Analysis Lab AS. You may request deletion of your personal data by contacting us at post@sal.no.
Your rights and controls
You can:
Disable push notifications in your device settings or within the App
Log out to delete all locally stored data
Request the deletion of your account data by contacting Signal Analysis Lab AS
Changes to this policy
This privacy policy may be updated to reflect changes in the App or applicable law. Significant changes will be communicated through the App or by email.
