Eyde Cluster: Groundbreaking sensor technology for better air quality

Signal Analysis Lab (SAL) has developed Arpuro – a new sensor technology that provides the process industry with real-time insights into air quality. The system, developed in collaboration with NTNU, makes it possible to identify invisible dust sources and document the effectiveness of dust mitigation measures. With support from Innovation Norway and the Research Council of Norway, SAL has transitioned from maritime condition monitoring to delivering robust solutions for HSE and environmental improvement in industry.

Signal Analysis Lab partnered with Arduino to create Arpuro, a rugged air quality monitoring system for industrial use. Built on the Arduino MKR platform, it supports multiple communication protocols and measures various particulate levels, improving workplace safety. The system is self-cleaning, easy to install, and now expanding beyond Norway.
